Advicelocal is a new website from the social welfare law and tech charity Lasa.

With core funding from the City Bridge Trust and additional support from the Big Lottery and Trust for London, advicelocal's aim is to support organisations across London in providing social welfare law information and advice to the communities they serve.

Advicelocal is shortlisted in the 'Access to Justice through IT' category for the 2017 Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year awards.

Check out our Resources pages for borough-by-borough local welfare reform information - including housing benefit and council tax support and details of your local emergency assistance scheme - plus debt, housing and social care resources and more.

Or, if you're looking for contact details of a local advice provider, try searching in our Advicefinder ... or have a look at Noticeboard if you have news to share or want to publicise an event.

NB - Do also make use of our My lists feature which enables you to create your own personalised lists of resources by clicking on the ADD TO MY LIST icon that appears next to each resource.

We'll be adding more content to the site over the coming months, so do keep checking back ... or keep up to date with the latest developments via our advicelocal twitter.

Looking for information about your own legal rights?

We're sorry, we're unable to offer assistance to individuals seeking advice about their own legal rights. We would however strongly urge you to contact a local advice centre to get the assistance you need.
